xFloat docs
Launch with a Solana wallet. Choose who earns the creator fees by entering their X profile.
Launch a token
Upload a token image, enter its name and ticker, and choose a trading fee. New xFloat tokens trade against SOL. Optionally enter a dev buy in SOL to purchase up to 3% of the supply. Your launching wallet pays for the buy and receives the tokens. Review the SOL amount and minimum tokens before signing the combined launch and buy.
Open launch form →Choose who gets paid
Enter an X handle or paste a profile URL. Check the returned profile before continuing. xFloat uses the permanent X account ID to look up the recipient’s Solana wallet, or provision one through Privy for a new recipient. Review the fee receiver address before signing: Float records that address on the token at launch.
How the trading fee is split
The launcher chooses what traders pay on each buy and sell: 1%, 2% or 2.5%. While the token trades on the bonding curve, Raydium receives 0.25% of trading volume. Float then gives the selected creator 5% of the fees left over. The creator receives that entire allocation. xFloat’s additional fee and platform deduction are both 0%.
What does the creator earn at 2.5%?
Suppose buys and sells add up to 1,000 SOL. Traders pay 25 SOL in trading fees. Raydium receives 2.5 SOL, leaving 22.5 SOL for Float to split. The creator earns 1.125 SOL (5% of 22.5). That works out to 0.1125% of trading volume.
| Trading tier | Total fees | Creator earns |
|---|---|---|
| 1% | 10 SOL | 0.375 SOL |
| 2% | 20 SOL | 0.875 SOL |
| 2.5% | 25 SOL | 1.125 SOL |
These examples are before rounding. After graduation to a Raydium pool, the creator still receives 5% of the fees available for distribution. The token page uses amounts recorded on-chain.
Custom trading taxes
A custom tax structure is planned for a later release. Today, launches use the three Float tiers shown above. The launch date, custom rates and distribution rules have not been announced.
X accounts and X Money
Your X handle identifies you as the recipient. Signing in with X through Privy verifies that account when you claim. Payment goes to the Solana fee receiver shown on the token page. xFloat does not currently credit an X Money balance or offer withdrawals through X Money.
Track claimed fees
The public token page shows the total creator fees claimed. Sign in on the Claim page to review your available balance. Solana transaction records are public.
Claim your creator fees
- Open your token page and choose Claim fees. The token mint is filled in for you.
- Sign in with the recipient’s X account through Privy and review your receiving wallet in the creator dashboard.
- Review the available amount and destination. Keep some SOL in your signing wallet for the network fee and any token-account rent.
- Sign the claim, then open its Solana Explorer link to check confirmation. SOL-paired fees arrive as wrapped SOL (WSOL). Your wallet can unwrap WSOL to native SOL.
Why can my SOL estimate change?
For SOL-paired tokens, the page displays the exact amount in SOL. For other Float pairs, the ≈ symbol marks an estimate using current prices. The claim settles in the original pairing asset, so its estimated SOL value can move even when the token balance stays the same.
